I've seen a lot of these two in the last year or so... well, more than most couples anyway. You can see their engagement session here, and Deanna's sister Heather's wedding here.
Deanna and Tim were married at the Pickering Barn in Issaquah on a rainy and cold November 21st. It seems like half the weddings and portrait sessions I shoot are on rainy days, but somehow the rain always holds off just long enough for the session. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case with Deanna and Tim. Actually, it was just the opposite. Throughout our location scouting the weather was holding, but once it was time for Deanna and Tim to step outside for portraits, it decided to rain and it didn't stop the rest of the day.
Fortunately, the Pickering Barn had a number of structures and trees to hide under and Deanna was a GREAT sport. Every time I asked if she wanted a break or to go inside to warm up, she said she was fine and wanted to keep shooting. So, here's what you can get on a rainy wedding day in Washington.
