So about a year ago, Mindy and I were traveling with some other friends to my friend Matt's cabin. Along the way we had to stop and pick up our friend Tim. It was late, and raining, and we still had hours of driving ahead of us. So what does Tim do? He locks ALL his keys in his car... while it is running... and raining.
We decided we needed a hanger, so we went dumpster diving and wouldn't you know it? Someone had thrown away a closet full of metal hangers! However, not one of them worked. So about 45 minutes, six wet pairs of shoes, and a call to GOOG-411 later, Tim was back in business if not a bit slimmer in the wallet.
Now zoom ahead 12 months and I'm shooting his younger sister's engagement pictures, and what does she do as soon as Mindy and I show up? Locks her keys in the car... in the rain. At least the car wasn't running this time. And while we may have started out with a bit of "excitement", and it never did quit raining for our entire shoot, Natalie and Sean were absolutely GREAT to work with. We had a fun time getting to know each other, and we captured some awesome moments (I think, simply because they were the kind of people who can have such great attitudes when a lot things aren't going quite right). That's going to come in handy in marriage.
We shot in the rain at Gasworks park in Seattle and at UW.
Hope you guys love your pictures.
