What Else We Do...

Mindy and I maintain a couple other blogs in addition to this one.  If you're interested, you can check out the classroom blog for my 6th grade class, and our personal blog, which is very infrequently, and solely maintained by Mindy.  I think once our son comes, our personal blog will be used a bit more often.

A Personal Post

I don't often share personal things on this blog, but I thought many of you past and future clients might want to see this one!

He's a boy, and he's very healthy.  Mindy is doing really great too.  He's due at the end of March.

Victoria, BC

Time for a quick personal post. A few weeks ago Mindy and I took a day to explore Victoria, BC. We spent most of out time just walking through the city, but we did manage to go on a tour of the Parliament Building.

The following photos were taken on our point and shoot.

Broken Window

This afternoon a rock flew from our neighbor's lawnmower and hit our window. That's right, you're looking at a couple $300 photographs.

Oh Boy

These are my friends Dustin, Tim, and Matt. It was our other friend Matt's wedding this weekend, so they decided to go all out. And no, before you ask, the wedding was not in 1974.

San Diego for Our 5th Wedding Anniversary

Mindy and I decided to take a long weekend and fly down to San Diego to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. We went a couple weeks before Christmas, and apparently, we also went during the only two days of the year it rained. We still had a great time, though, checking out the historic Gaslamp District, the San Diego Zoo, and La Jolla (pronounced La Hoya).

My favorite part of the trip was when the aliens attacked:

The zoo was very foggy and wet, but we saw everything with no lines and we could spend as much time as we wanted with each animal. We also had the skytram to ourselves:

This is Balboa Park, which is a collection of different museums and vendors just outside the zoo. We walked through it at dusk:

The last day of our trip we drove out to La Jolla to see the coast. Again, it was rainy, but it was beautiful:
