When I was editing through Jessa and Beau's pictures, I found it really hard to narrow them all down to a blog post. Their wedding was just so unique for me to shoot. It isn't very often I get to shoot backyard weddings and Jessa and Beau did it right for sure. (By the way, if you are thinking of doing a DIY backyard wedding I'd love to be a part of it.) Everywhere I looked, the decor was infused with their personality and family history. Also, to top it all off, they had a 20's theme and asked all their guests to come dressed up from the era. It turned out really well too.
As a side note, every once in a while, I'll get an idea that I have to preface with, "Okay, you guys really need to just say no if you aren't comfortable with this but...(insert crazy suggestion here)". But, as you can see, when I asked Jessa and Beau to climb a tree in their wedding clothes they were all for it. In fact, Jessa told me she grew up playing in that tree, so how cool are those pictures?!
I've actually just included through the ceremony in this post. Reception to come!
