More from Our Morning Hike

Here are a couple more shots from my hike to Table Mountain one morning with my principal, Bob, and a few students. I don't get up early to take photographs at sunrise often, and many times when I have pulled myself out of bed, it has been a bit disappointing. The morning of our hike was incredible, though. It was warm enough to hike through the snow in t-shirts.

Who Needs Skis?

Rarely do I post pictures of students on this blog, and never without obtaining parent permission first. And while I've taken pictures at just about every BCS event there has been, this series rises to the top pretty quickly, so I couldn't help but email a number of parents and ask if I could please post a couple images of their little ones attempting to break something.

These are a couple shots from hundreds I took of our kids sledding behind the Firs Chalet on Mt. Baker. The Firs has hosted our Winter Retreat for the past five years. It is always an incredible time, full of crazy free time activities as well as opportunities to reflect on our God and ourselves. Before we go, I always tell my 6th graders that this retreat is probably the only place I can throw them around and not lose my job. Enjoy!
