Texturized Photographs

I have been experimenting the last couple of days with texturizing some of my photographs. The process has been a lot of trial and error, but it basically consists of photographing the cement patterns in our car port or the tile patterns in our kitchen and then layering them lightly over the top of another photograph. The result is a very stylized photograph-- sometimes with the appearance of an aged or disturbed picture and sometimes it's just a new artsy twist on a photograph.

You might consider clicking on these pictures to view them at a slightly larger size in order to appreciate the detail.

Paris and Fog

Mindy thought I should use this blog to showcase some of the photography I have created outside of the world of people, so from time to time I will post photographs I have taken that might be considered more art. This is one that I took in Paris from atop the Arc De Triomphe last summer.
