Hi everybody. I wanted to share with you a quick example of one kind of retouching. Below is an example of a photograph from which a client wanted to make a print, but there was a small bit of drool on the chin, and a stray hair across the face. Granted, neither of these elements are huge, but even for their small size they can be very distracting.
Here is a close up of the drool and the stray hair, followed by a close up of the same photograph a few minutes later, with the drool and hair removed:
And finally, the final, retouched print:
Again, I just wanted you all to know that this is possible! If there is a photo you love except for that one little tiny hair, or that drop of drool, or that ever so minuscule gob of booger, don't give up hope. Thanks for checking in!

Wagenaar Family Portraits
This is the third time now I have had the privilege of photographing the Wagenaars, and that is a great thing because they make my job easy! Their kids are so smiley and energetic, it gets difficult to take a bad picture. Here are a couple shots from our outing.

Summer Wedding Décor
This last Saturday, Steven Moore had me photograph the design of a wedding reception he coordinated on Lake Whatcom. It was held in an incredible clear-top tent, and simply decorated with an abundance of white lilies and candles. Add some stormy weather and the overall effect was stunning!
