Long Weekend in Portland

Last weekend, Mindy and I took our personal day on Monday and drove down to Portland to enjoy the sun. We walked all around the city, saw the public market, a neighborhood park, and a number of shops that honestly Mindy was more interested in than I was.

The highlight for me, though, was going to the Oregon Zoo. I hadn't been to a zoo for quite a few years and I was really excited. We saw polar bears, rhinos, a giraffe, tropical birds, penguins, well... I guess everything you would expect to see at the zoo.
